Precious Stones

I love all types of gems and precious stones, because they are so shinny and amazing. My second favourite one though has to be the emerald, because of the colour it is, I love that colour and the shape it is normally in. The best of the best for me has to opal. Opal appears to have more the one colour, Opals displaying play of colour are known as Precious Opals, and opals lacking play of color are known as Common Opals. Gems can be cut from both the precious and common forms, but Precious Opal is the primary gem form of this stone. There are many varieties of both precious and common Opals. The most desired and beautiful form of opal is Black Opal, which is opal with a dark blue, dark green, or black background with a strong play of color. Next in importance is White Opal, which is Opal with a light colored body color (white, yellow, cream, etc.) with strong play of color. Also important is Fire Opal, or Mexican Fire Opal, which is a transparent to translucent deep-orange red form of Common Opal. Fire Opal can also display play of color, and this is a rarity called Precious Fire Opal.

Elvis Presley

Born on January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Presley came from very humble beginnings and grew up to become one of the biggest names in rock 'n' roll. By the mid-1950s, he appeared on the radio, television and the silver screen. On August 16, 1977, at age 42, he died of heart failure, which was related to his drug addiction. Since his death, Presley has remained one of the world's most popular music icons.
Musician and actor Elvis Aron Presley was born on January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi. (He later changed the spelling of his middle name to the biblical form of Aaron.) Presley was supposed to be a twin, but his brother, Jesse Garon (sometimes spelled Jessie) was stillborn. From very humble beginnings, Elvis Presley grew up to become one of the biggest names in rock 'n' roll.
Raised by loving, working-class parents, Presley's family had little money, and they moved from place to place frequently. He was deeply devoted to his parents, especially his mother, Gladys, and was raised to have a strong faith in God. Presley attended the Assembly of God Church with his parents, where gospel music became an important influence for him.
Presley received his first guitar as a gift from his mother on his 11th birthday in 1946 and had his first taste of musical success a few years later when he won a talent show at Humes High School in Memphis. After graduating in 1953, he worked a number of jobs while pursuing his musical dream. He cut his first demo record at what later became known as Sun Studio that year, and before long, Sam Phillips, the record label owner, decided to take the young performer under his wing. Presley soon began touring and recording, trying to catch his first big break. "That's All Right" was Presley's first single in 1954.

Ode to Music

You are so motivationally great. My mind focuses when i listen to you, you are the loveliest and coolest things man has invented. What i love more about you is the amount of different types you have. you make me happy when i am sad, you make me cry, you make me shout, you make me think and you also hurt me sometimes. anyway, I love you like I love my mum and dad, or my religion and you even make it into my religion. You are the best thing that has happened to my life and thanks to you music I was inspired to write two stories and almost finished them just a bit more to goo now. Why are you so simple but complicated at the same time. You are a puzzle, you are a game, you are inspiring

Rabbits

The animal i love the most has to be the rabbit because it has a cute face and is totally soft and venerably to any animal. It might be smaller than other animals but it has a quick reaction and manage to jump down their rabbit holes. I love the way they eat, because it is just so cute. A fun fact about them that I love is Domesticated rabbits that people raise do not open their eyes until they reach about 2 weeks of age. i just find that adorable.

Slice of life #18

Writing about rabbits using colours.

My little whit with black spots always looked like he was in the blues, especially when i tired to take him for a walk. he would sometimes be in the red zone when i gave him food. none the less he loved me and i loved him and i was sitting outside stroking and watching the gold and purple sky slowly turn into a dark blue and then black. I sat out for a while and just look at the amazing blue and white stars.

Fire in school

I was in class, hoping for something to happen to get out of class. I was so bored, and trying not to fall asleep. I was saying, please let there be a fire. I knew there wouldn't though. I was waiting for the bell to relive me of the touter but then I heard the microphone turning, but i thought "It is just someone who parked in the wrong place. We were not expecting a drill, so when the guy said there was a fire i was so exited until i learnt that a teacher had got her hand burnt really bad. i was taken home and also i found that a steam train coursed the fire.
